This page describes the text message (SMS/MMS) program operated by AAA Property Tax Appeal LLC ("AAA", "we", "our", or "us") and how you consent to receive text messages from us. Text messages are optional: you opt in only by checking the optional, unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox on our online intake and authorization form. Checking that box is voluntary and is never required to use our services. If you check it, you agree to these SMS Terms.
AAA Property Tax Appeal sends transactional text notifications to its own clients who have engaged our property tax grievance services. Messages include invoice and billing notifications, secure payment links, payment reminders, and filing/grievance deadline reminders. Messages are informational and one-to-one in nature. This is not a marketing or promotional program, and we do not send advertising by text.
You opt in by checking the optional, unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox on our online intake and authorization form and providing your mobile number on that form. The checkbox states that, by checking it, you agree to receive text messages from AAA Property Tax Appeal about your case (invoice, payment, and filing-deadline reminders) at the mobile number you provide, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. The box is unchecked by default; checking it is entirely voluntary and is not required to complete the form or to engage AAA Property Tax Appeal's property tax grievance services. If you leave the box unchecked, you will not receive text messages and can still use all of our services by phone, email, or mail. When you check the box, you agree to receive transactional service text messages from us at the number you provided — invoice and billing notifications, secure payment links, payment reminders, and filing/grievance deadline reminders related to your case.
Consent to receive these texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. We send text messages only to our own clients who have engaged our services in this way; we do not send marketing or promotional texts. You may opt out at any time (see Section 5) and continue to receive our services by phone, email, or mail. We do not purchase, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties for their marketing, and we do not share opt-in data or consent with any third party, except with our messaging provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive.
Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity — for example, when an invoice is issued, a payment is due, or a filing deadline is approaching.
Message and data rates may apply. AAA does not charge you for the text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending text messages to that number. You may also reply OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL. To resubscribe, reply START at any time.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
